East West Languages Educational Program Summary

We fill the need of students to study and practice English. All lessons are based upon well known and successful study materials (from Oxford University Press, Cambridge Press, Meriam Webster, MacMillanPublishers).

Courses and lessons are arranged paying particular attention to the students’ interests, English usage, ability, ages and professional background. For university students we provide Business Law&Legal English.

Many of our students study for  English language tests such as TOEFL, TOEIC and the Japanese test EIKEN.

Although many students study the English language as a regular course in junior and senior high school, the average speaking and writing ability is insufficient. High school courses overlook the necessity for the student to have a firm understanding of grammar, as well as the necessity to speak and write correctly in English.

East West Language’s Program stresses the use and practice of those English skills the students have already acquired as well as expanding their basic knowledge at a rate comparable to the students learning abilities. We attach great importance to students acquiring a good and active knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary, and the rules in everyday writing and speaking. Students need to know how to present ideas forcefully without confusion and grammatical mistakes.  To communicate purposefully you have to use English correctly and gracefully.

Our Philosophy: It is important that the teacher understands the mother language of his students and can give explanations about meaning, grammar and composition in the native language of students. It is not only a matter of thinking and talking in English but the teacher must be able to explain in the mother language of the student.
